At DVN GRIND - FZCO ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our Clients, Users, and all website visitors (“you”) to do the same. This Copyright Policy outlines our practices for protecting copyrighted materials created by DVN GRIND and procedures for reporting copyright violations. It also addresses ownership and licensing rights for deliverables created as part of our services.

This Copyright Policy is governed by UAE Federal Copyright Law No. 38 of 2021, which establishes rules for the protection of intellectual property in the UAE, and is aligned with international copyright standards.
1. Ownership of Copyrighted Materials
  • 1.1 Materials Created by DVN GRIND
  • All intellectual property, including but not limited to source code, software, designs, graphics, documentation, reports, and any other materials (collectively, "Deliverables") created by DVN GRIND as part of our services, is protected under UAE Copyright Law No. 38 of 2021.
  • Ownership of Deliverables will remain with DVN GRIND until the Client has paid in full for the services provided, as outlined in the applicable agreement or contract.
  • 1.2 Copyright Assignment
  • Upon receipt of full payment for a project, the ownership of custom Deliverables will be transferred to the Client as outlined in the agreement.
  • Certain pre-existing proprietary materials (e.g., tools, libraries, frameworks, algorithms) developed or owned by DVN GRIND prior to the engagement will not be transferred but may be licensed to the Client for use as part of the Deliverables (see Section 2).
2. Licensing of Proprietary Materials
  • 2.1 Retained Rights
DVN GRIND retains ownership of any proprietary tools, components, or intellectual property incorporated into the Deliverables that:
  • Were developed prior to or independently of the Client’s project.
  • Are part of DVN GRIND’s reusable frameworks, methodologies, or libraries.
For proprietary materials embedded in the Deliverables, the Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use such materials solely for purposes related to the project or services provided by DVN GRIND.
  • The Client is prohibited from distributing, reselling, or reverse-engineering these proprietary materials without prior written consent.
3. Copyright Infringement Reporting
  • 3.1 Reporting Procedure
  • If you believe that any content on our website (www.dvngrind.com) or any Deliverable created by DVN GRIND infringes on your copyright, you may file a Copyright Infringement Notice by contacting us at:

  • 3.2 Response to Infringement Claims
  • Upon receiving a valid notice, we will:
  • Investigate the claim.
  • Remove or disable access to the infringing material if the claim is verified.
  • Notify the individual or entity that posted the alleged infringing material, if applicable.
  • If the accused party disputes the claim, we may facilitate a resolution or refer the matter to appropriate legal authorities.
4. Client Responsibilities and Representations
  • When you provide materials (e.g., content, data, or other intellectual property) to DVN GRIND as part of a project, you represent and warrant that:
  • You own or have the necessary licenses and permissions to use and share such materials.
  • The materials provided do not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
  • You indemnify and hold DVN GRIND harmless from any claims or disputes arising from the use of materials provided by you.
  • If it is discovered that materials provided by the Client violate third-party rights, DVN GRIND reserves the right to:
  • Suspend or terminate the project.
  • Seek indemnification for any resulting legal or financial damages.
5. Permissible Use of DVN GRIND Content
All content on our website, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, videos, code, and software, is the intellectual property of DVN GRIND or licensed to us and is protected by UAE copyright laws.
  • You may:
  • View and download content for personal and non-commercial use.
  • Share publicly available content on social media with appropriate credit to DVN GRIND.
  • You may not:
  • Reproduce, distribute, or modify website content without prior written consent.
  • Use website content for commercial purposes without authorization.
  • 5.2 Client Testimonials and Case Studies
By agreeing to work with DVN GRIND, you grant us the right to feature your project (including anonymized data, screenshots, or descriptions) in our portfolio, case studies, or marketing materials, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the service agreement.
6. Copyright Protection and Enforcement
DVN GRIND actively enforces its copyright rights under UAE law, including but not limited to:
  • Filing claims with the Ministry of Economy or relevant UAE authorities for copyright violations.
  • Initiating legal action in cases of repeated or deliberate infringement.
  • Reporting online copyright violations (e.g., unauthorized use of software or materials) to relevant platforms or hosting providers.
7. Limitation of Liability
DVN GRIND is not liable for:
  • Unauthorized use or reproduction of Deliverables by third parties after delivery to the Client.
  • Loss, theft, or misuse of Deliverables once transferred to the Client. The Client is responsible for securing their Deliverables and ensuring their proper use.
8. Updates to this Copyright Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Copyright Policy at any time to reflect changes in:
  • UAE copyright laws and regulations.
  • Our business practices or intellectual property strategies.
Significant updates will be communicated through:
  • Notices on our website.
  • Updates to the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
